YuMOVE

We turned landmarks into landbarks to say thank you to the nations dogs

ABOUT THE PROJECT

YuMOVE says #thankyoudogs

Doggies, where would be without them? For the nation’s ever-increasing number of dog owners – 9 million and counting – furry friends offered unwavering love and loyalty during the pandemic.

So, when YuMOVE asked us to come up with an idea to show our canine companions grrrrrrratitude for the heroic role they played in 2020, we knew we had to put them in the spotlight. Quite literally!

We decorated the famous facades of some of London’s most recognisable buildings with images of dogs that were crowdsourced from YuMOVE customers on social media. Marble Arch, the Tower of London and Senate House were transformed from landmarks to landbarks as pooches were projected onto them using state-of-the-art technology.

We created a suite of imagery and video as well as commissioning research that asked 1,000 dog owners to tell us how much their dog meant to them in 2020. The research generated numerous insights that demonstrated the essential role that dogs played during a truly difficult year and enabled us to tell a broader story that media would go barking for.

Packaging up the content, we issued our #ThankYouDogs story generating some incredible results. We secured over 200 pieces of coverage within print and online consumer media as well as enhancing YuMOVE’s brand reputation and fame.

Who let the dogs out? We did with this pawsome campaign.
