THE PPA

Representing the interests of specialist media

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Representing the interests of specialist media with the PPA

The PPA (Professional Publishers Association) exist to represent, champion and support specialist media businesses.  Members range from large multi- national companies to smaller independent publishers across consumer and b2b magazine media including Bauer, Hearst UK, Immediate Media, Condé Nast, Future and emap and William Reed – names you’ll all recognise.

Our role is to create and activate the annual PR communications strategy that supports the PPA in achieving its business objectives and engaging stakeholders. With an earned media strategy focused on core marketing and national media we showcase the incredible work done by the PPA as it champions issues and challenges crucial to its members and the industry.

This encapsulates a myriad of work including campaigning on issues such as ED&I and the future of sustainability; placing thought leadership content around important topics such as the use of AI in publishing; CEO profiling and supporting PPA industry events including the annual PPA Festival and Awards.

A successful year so far has resulted in coverage including Campaign; Media Leader; Press Gazette, InPublishing, FT, The Times, Media Guardian.
