FLYING TIGER COPENHAGEN

A high street success story

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Flying Tiger Copenhagen: A high street success story

News of the nation’s high street crisis has swept UK press in recent years, but one retailer is thriving despite the economic gloom – yep, its Danish variety store, Flying Tiger Copenhagen - and we’re lucky enough to be working with them.

In recent years, the business has gone from strength-to-strength - with the 2022 global report announcing record-breaking sales in the UK and Ireland. It’s also making huge waves in its sustainability targets, from reducing its CO2 emissions to creating an entire product range using only sustainable or recycled materials.

And so, they appointed Visible at the start of 2023 to help communicate the brand’s commitment to quality, planet-positive design that’s affordable for everyone.

Our remit covers everything from consumer PR to trade and corporate comms.  Product strategy sits at the heart of our consumer focus and we’re clever about our media strategy.

With thousands of products to choose from, we carefully curate product roundups to focus on new campaign items as well as ‘always on’ stock.

The constant arrival of new items every month allows us to be culturally relevant, whether its jumping on key calendar hooks such as Valentine’s Day and Easter or spotting current trends that we can leverage to position Flying Tiger Copenhagen as an affordable alternative.

While we tap into press like the weeklies to support the value price point, we’ve also focused on getting the brand into premium publications like House Beautiful and House & Garden and Woman & Home to reinforce Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s commitment to both quality and sustainability.

In just over three months, we’ve secured 52 pieces of coverage for Flying Tiger Copenhagen in top tier media including newspapers, magazines and TV shows like This Morning.
