Wildkind doesn’t do ordinary festivals. From grown-up adventure at Camp Wildfire to family escapades at Camp Kindling and festive fun at Winter Wildfire, each event invites guests to step into another world, try something unexpected and become part of a very special community.

Our mission was to get more people talking about these distinctive experiences bringing their personality, people and playful spirit to life in the media, inspiring new audiences to book and building momentum across the 2026 festival season.

We started with what makes Wildkind different. Rather than simply selling a festival, we set out to tell the stories behind the experience that national journalists would relish. From the family adventures waiting at Camp Kindling, to the wonderfully unconventional, adults only world of Camp Wildfire and the festive fun of Winter Wildfire.

We looked beyond the events to find the human stories that make them so memorable, for example the accountants who swap spreadsheets for Squirrel Patrol Leader duties for two weeks of the year, showcasing the unexpected characters, playful escapism and sense of belonging that bring Wildkind to life. By developing distinctive angles for different audiences, we gave journalists compelling reasons to look beyond the usual festival coverage.

Experiences are best understood first-hand so we put journalists and influencers at the heart of the campaign, getting them involved in the activities, meeting the people and soaking up the atmosphere and community that make Wildkind so distinctive.

We secured over 15 media & influencer visits, and the Visible team were on the ground managing press and influencers, facilitating interviews, and co-ordinating visits to help them discover and unlock the experiences that would bring their reviews and features to life.

The campaign delivered standout coverage across national, consumer and regional media, including The Times, The Sun, Financial Times and The i Paper. Highlights also included things-to-do listings in HELLO!, a review in The Nudge, Good Housekeeping and features in HuffPost UK and KentOnline.

From first-hand festival reviews and timely listings to broader business profiling, this coverage gave audiences multiple ways to discover Wildkind. Consumer features offered inspiration for readers’ next adventure, while business coverage built the profile of the company behind the festivals. Regional coverage and social media attention extended that reach, sustaining interest across the season and building momentum for future events.

With 86 pieces of media and social coverage to date, Visible has put Wildkind’s festivals in the spotlight, capturing the vivacious character of each event and introducing its unique experiences to a wider audience helping turn curiosity into consideration and giving future festival goers even more reasons to book.
