Paving the way for a prosperous Net Zero Food System

Mondra is a product footprinting and supply chain decarbonisation SaaS platform for the grocery industry. It supports retailers, suppliers and farmers transition to Net Zero by allowing them to track, monitor and improve their Scope 3 emissions – one of the hardest challenges facing the sector.

Visible came on board as Mondra’s corporate and b2b communications partner at the end of 2023 – acting on behalf of the platform and its people, as well as being the main press hub for the BRC Mondra Coalition – a network of industry figures, government organisations and NGOs all working together to harmonise product carbon footprinting and accelerate sector decarbonization.

Our first mission was to announce the BRC Mondra Coalition to the press. With so many stakeholders involved, we needed to make sure our messaging house was on point and that everyone bought into the narrative.

We held multiple working sessions with the group and made sure everyone felt involved in the process before issuing the announcement in December 2023. We launched the Coalition with exclusives in The Grocer and Edie.net, which was quickly followed by a string of follow up articles across sustainability, grocery and supplier trade media, including Business Green, Food Service Footprint, Sustainability Magazine and Grocery Gazette.

We then turned our attention to spotlighting Mondra as a business, seeding news about the company’s latest talent hires, tech partnerships and placing profiles for the founder in key tech and environmental titles and boosting his profile on Linkedin. We also supported Mondra in announcing the results of its £3.6M Pre-Series A funding round, resulting in news coverage across titles such as Tech Funding News, UKTN and FoodBev.
