LITTLE MOONS

Craft, Create, Snack: Little Moons x Sculpd drop the UK’s first DIY mochi holder

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Craft, Create, Snack: Little Moons x Sculpd drop the UK’s first DIY mochi holder

As October arrived and colder, darker evenings set in across the UK, Little Moons tasked us with creating a culturally relevant collaboration that could tap into the shift towards cosy nights in and those sofa snacking moments at home.

With Little Moons, snacking starts in the freezer and whilst the temptation is to munch on them immediately, waiting five minutes is Little Moons perfect serving suggestion.  So, rather than them whirling around bowls and plates, we decided to create the perfect mochi holder to make serving, sharing and sofa snacking so much easier.

We identified and managed a creative partnership with pottery cool kids Sculpd to launch the UK’s first ever ‘make your own’ mochi tray. The result was a playful at-home activity for the cosier months, allowing fans to craft a bespoke and stylish ceramic dish designed to cradle six bite-sized Little Moons.

To launch the collaboration, we developed and announced the partnership to media, positioning the kit as a design-led lifestyle drop rather than a traditional brand collaboration. This secured national and consumer lifestyle coverage across titles like Vogue UK, Metro, Express Online, Daily Express, 27 regional titles and more, delivering a combined earned media reach of over 8 million.

Alongside earned media, we delivered a paid influencer partnership with Matilda Bea, a lifestyle creator known for her beautifully curated, aesthetic-led feed. Matilda brought the collaboration to life by sharing her perfect cosy night in using the co-branded kit, with the hero TikTok driving close to half a million views, delivering strong engagement and social cut-through for the launch.

To extend reach and build social proof, we secured gifted coverage with a curated mix of food, lifestyle and craft creators, including Kate Snooks, Frances Quinn and Fatima Flatt driving further organic content on social.

By combining a highly design-led product collaboration with culturally relevant storytelling and creator content, we successfully positioned Little Moons within the world of modern craft, cosy culture and shared snacking moments, delivering cut-through for the brand during the autumn season.
