We’ve been working with marketing agency Gekko to raise their profile and showcase their expertise in retail marketing

Gekko is a field marketing agency that works with some of the world’s leading technology brands supporting their quest to be the best in retail from merchandising, product demonstrations, experiential to the customer service.

To demonstrate Gekko’s knowledge of how customers buys technology products in retail and position them as ‘Smart Home’ experts, we created a campaign called ‘Smart Home Brits – All The Gear but No Idea’.

The campaign was developed from insight that consumers buy Smart Home products, but most of the time have no idea how to use them.  And was supported by consumer research which delved deep into the Smart Home buying habits of consumers.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The results of the consumer research gave us a raft of content to mine which we crafted into by-line articles, press releases and infographics.The campaign delivered multiple conversations across trade, retail and national media including Retail Times, The Daily Star, Marcomms News, The Drum, PCR, ERT and WARC. And this content is used by Gekko to support their new business and customer retention strategy.
